Our story

Our background is not just in software. It is rooted in the visualization industry. As the founders of a bespoke architectural visualization studio, we understand the process of crafting high-end imagery from scratch, and we built Katalo because we saw exactly what the broader real estate market was missing: a scalable, accessible way to achieve that same visual impact. As we refined workflows using the latest AI tools, it became clear that similar processes could be adapted for real estate at scale. Combining our passion for high visual quality with our IT skills enabled us to build a tool we are proud of. We wanted to solve two common frustrations: empty rooms ask buyers to imagine too much, while outdated interiors demotivate them from closing the deal. Katalo is our attempt to make virtual staging fast and simple enough for agency workflows, believable enough to earn trust the first time someone opens a listing, and affordable enough to make beautiful real estate imagery the norm.
